Hi, I’m Jacquie! I am the Creative Director for Bytown Designs.

For over a decade, I was a touring musician and had the opportunity to travel with my band and take our music across North America & Europe. I was able to try my hand at set design and styling for music videos and fell in love with this medium. During this time, I was often living out of suitcases and had most of my belongings in and out of storage units. I loved what I did, but always felt something was missing.

I eventually realized what I longed for was a place to call my own. I wanted a sanctuary, a refuge, a place that I could fill with my treasures & stories - a space that truly felt like home. This realization led me down an exciting new path of discovery and an eventual career change. I returned to school and began to consume all things interiors, architecture, design, and decorative arts. This encouraged me to really think about the significance of what makes a space feel like home and I have made it my mission to explore this milieu by encompassing the arts, history, culture, style, function, and celebration of character.

My goal is to help clients discover their personal style while curating dynamic spaces with soul. By highlighting clients’ treasures and their unique backgrounds, they can be as excited as I am about coming home.
